Pulled chicken hapjes

  • Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
  • Start by putting a pan of water on the stove and cook the chicken for 13-15 minutes.
  • Cut the onion into half rings
  • Fry the onion in a pan with a dash of oil for 5 minutes.
  • Add the barbecue sauce to the pan and turn off the heat.
  • Pull the chicken apart with two forks.
  • Mix the chicken through the sauce.
  • Line a baking tray with baking paper.
  • Place the puff pastry slices on the baking tray and fill them halfway with chicken (leave the edges free).
  • Close the puff pastry and press the edges with a fork.
  • Beat an egg and brush the top of the puff pastry with a little egg.
  • Bake the puff pastry snacks for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
