- Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.
- Start by putting a pan of water on the stove and cook the chicken for 13-15 minutes.
- Cut the onion into half rings
- Fry the onion in a pan with a dash of oil for 5 minutes.
- Add the barbecue sauce to the pan and turn off the heat.
- Pull the chicken apart with two forks.
- Mix the chicken through the sauce.
- Line a baking tray with baking paper.
- Place the puff pastry slices on the baking tray and fill them halfway with chicken (leave the edges free).
- Close the puff pastry and press the edges with a fork.
- Beat an egg and brush the top of the puff pastry with a little egg.
- Bake the puff pastry snacks for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
